Our property is located on 15 acres, in between Princeton & Cambridge, right on the grounds of Souls Church! The original church building began its construction in 1978, built by five farming families. People from diverse backgrounds have and continue to encounter God in a deep and meaningful way here every week. Little did we know, nearly 50 years later, this would still be a place where people can get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, encounter hope, and enjoy a place to celebrate the moments and connections with your loved ones and friends. The ‘heart and soul’ of this new offering will not only help fund the ministry initiatives we have but will allow us to also share in your joy and delight as you plan your special day or event with us.
We know there are many venues throughout this beautiful, four-season state to choose from for your special day, so we are honored you are taking time to look at our site! Our prayer is that if our property is the right one for you, that you would experience countless golden moments between loved ones that weave themselves into your special event – whether it’s for your entire wedding day, the reception, or a special, private or ministry event. We take every event to heart, and ‘soul’ wish to offer the atmosphere in which you’re celebrating be the loveliest and coziest it could ever be!
Dennis and Dana Calhoun are passionate about helping people, life, and most of all – Jesus! Together, they co-pastor Souls Church, a life giving church where our desire and prayer is to inspire people and help them become fully engaged followers of Jesus and serve as Directors of the Heart & Soul Chapel.
The two share many passions together, but absolutely love serving together as Lead Pastors of Souls Church and as Directors of the Heart & Soul Chapel! Aside from these two roles, both Dennis and Dana are ordained, licensed and credentialed today through Harvest Network International, and serve as chaplains with the MN State Fair and Isanti/Cambridge Police Department.
The Calhoun’s love kayaking and playing baseball/softball in the summer, and drinking lots of Starbucks in the winter. They also love to make date nights – small and large happen whenever they can! Dennis and Dana reside in the north Twin Cities Metro Area and have one daughter, Jasmine.
